Luc Duc Tri

Founder/Chairman and CEO

Mr. Luc Duc Tri (Tristan) founded VNCHIP Technology in 2020 and currently serves as its Chairman and CEO. Under his leadership, VNCHIP has grown into a trusted provider of innovative IC design solutions, offering a comprehensive range of services including Physical Design, Physical Implementation, Custom Layout, Design Verification, and Design for Test (DFT).
With over 15 years of experience in chip design and high-performance microprocessor implementation, Tristan brings deep technical expertise spanning automotive SoCs, cloud infrastructure, and edge computing platforms. Before founding VNCHIP, he served as an Engineering Project Lead at Ampere Computing, where he led the physical design of several generations of Arm-based server processors.
Earlier in his career, Tristan played a pivotal role in establishing Uniquify Vietnam, contributing to team building and talent recruitment during the company’s expansion phase. Beyond his engineering accomplishments, Tristan is a passionate mentor and educator, committed to nurturing the next generation of IC design professionals through continuous training and career development support. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the Vietnam National University – International University.

Huynh phuoc nghia

Board of Advisory

Dr. Huynh Phuoc Nghia, Director of the Center for Economics, Law and Governance (CTELG) at University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), serves as a key business consultant for VNCHIP, bringing over 15 years of experience in consulting, research, and leadership. He has successfully led corporate restructuring and growth strategies for leading companies like TTC, Tin Nghia, Ecopark, and Suoi Tien.
Under the partnership between VNCHIP Technology JSC and CTELG, Dr. Huynh Phuoc Nghia will lead a consulting team focused on building a 3-year business development strategy, enhancing organizational capacity, and optimizing management models. His expertise in market strategy, corporate restructuring, and business innovation will fuel VNCHIP's continued success.
In addition to his academic role, Dr. Huynh Phuoc Nghia is Vice President of the Vietnam Marketing Association (VMA) and a trusted voice in policy consultation, industry forums, and startup projects. His comprehensive experience and thought leadership make him an invaluable asset to VNCHIP's growth and strategic vision.

Trinh Minh Hoang

Director Of Engineering

An Engineer Director of 15 years of experience in the design and development of high performance, low-power integrated circuits (ICs) using a variety of technology nodes from 90nm to 5nm.

In his previous role at Renesas Design Vietnam and Ampere Computing Vietnam, He was responsible for the quality control of all aspects of the IC design process, from circuit and custom layout design to physical design and physical verification.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage VNCHIP engineer team providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering collaboration.
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects
Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures.
Collaborate with research and development department.

Quang le

Senior Advisor

Mr. Quang Le has more than 30 years of executive and technical leadership experience in multinational semiconductor companies. He has architected and delivered multiple system-on-chip (SoC) platforms spanning mobile, client, and data-center products, leading programs from early concept through high-volume production.

Most recently, he served as a Senior Principal Engineer (Senior Director) at Intel’s Data Center Architecture Group, where he defined processor architecture as well as power and performance methodologies for Xeon platforms. Prior to that, he was the lead architect for Intel’s Converged Mobile Products, including Surface Duo, defining state-of-the-art multi-die system architectures. Earlier in his career, he directed the Intel Austin Design Center, overseeing development of 10Gb Ethernet networking and graphics/media/display products.

Mr. Le is the inventor or co-inventor of more than 20 patents in interconnect, networking, and media/display architecture and microarchitecture. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and has completed executive leadership education at the Red McCombs School of Business.

Vivian Doan

Vice Director

She focuses on building partnerships, fostering innovation, and driving development initiatives. Vivian works closely with experts, researchers, and industry leaders to advance VNCHIP Institute’s role in semiconductor technology. Her dedication contributes to shaping a dynamic and collaborative environment for future advancements in IC design and R&D.
